Sometimes all you need is a simple periodic table...

The Chemical Touch: Lite Edition is a free and easy to use periodic table for your iPhone or iPod touch. Consisting of a simplified version of the periodic table display from the full application, it puts the masses, densities, melting & boiling points, radii, and electronegativities of the elements right at your fingertips. If you need more elemental information, touch the internet button to open the wikipedia page for the selected element.

For those who have already downloaded the full version, the only thing new here is a fancy icon for your iPhone desktop. Its free though, so if you like Neon, you can display it on your phone at no loss other than space on your screen.

Pros and cons of The Chemical Touch: Lite Edition app for iPhone and iPad

The Chemical Touch: Lite Edition app good for

Kids are just starting Chemistry...........so good app to jog the memory.
To those users above me who are harassing the usefulness of this app: back off. Where did it say it was going to include all that high school stuff? Its just a simple periodic table intended to give you basic information for the elements.
Perfect app! Im always losing my paper copy of the periodic table and so this is definitely a must for anyone taking chemistry.
Thanks man! This is a great asset for chemistry, and it works great for studying. Thanks again!
This is an awesome app, you get so much for free!! lots of info to reference and looks great. Love it and recommend it to anyone who is taking any chemistry course!
I agree that this is a great app and I use it a lot for reference purposes But it is lacking A few more updates can add a few more cateories and then it would be amazing and I would even pay for it But still a great app for free

Some bad moments

Provide more info besides simply molecular mass. List ionization energies, electron affinity, shielding, etc. It could also provide the types of bonds that the element typically forms. Also electron configurations; this includes electron configurations of the different oxidation states for a given transition metal.
I am a chemistry student and I was disappointed that the app did not come with electronegativity.

Usually The Chemical Touch: Lite Edition iOS app used & searched for

atom, atom app, atoms, the atom, atoms hd, tct, and other. So, download free The Chemical Touch: Lite Edition .ipa to run this nice iOS application on iPhone and iPad.
